AccliMate enables target feeding, saving water quality, frustration, and the livestock itself.
Use the outer box to cover non-photosynthetic softies and juvenille clams when target feeding phyto. Cover the specimen on the sand bed, gently squirt phyto under the box, and wait about an hour until water clears. This technique greatly increases nutritional intake for such specimens, plus the negative impact to water quality typically seen with tank dosing is completely avoided.
Use the inner strainer box to cover sun corals, dendros, scolys, trachys, polyps, etc. so that corals can eat without being disturbed by pesky cleaner shrimp/fish. Just sprinkle mysis/brine over specimen and cover it with the strainer box until done.
The fun part is that you have a perfectly clear view of their feeding behavior
